Vanja Klepac-Ceraj, Assistant Research Investigator, received a BS in Molecular Biology and Mathematics from Beloit College and holds a PhD in Biological Oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute Joint Program. She was a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Roberto Kolter in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard University. She joined AMPL in October, 2009.

Xiaoqing Song, research fellow, earned a medical degree at Ningxia Medical College in China and holds an MS in Computer Science from Rivier College and an MS in Medicine from Xi.an Medical University, where she has worked as a physician-in-charge and lecturer in the Department of Pediatrics at The First Clinical Hospital. She joined The Forsyth Institute in 2001 and the AMPL in 2007. She is currently working on various projects regarding the photodestruction of oral bacteria.

Tom Pagonis, senior scientist, holds a DDS and an MS in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. After completing a residency in general dentistry, he entered the postgraduate endodontics program at Columbia University and was awarded a Certificate in Endodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics. He is a faculty member of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is a guest lecturer at the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University. His research interests include endodontic microbiology and disinfection. He joined AMPL in 2005.

Nguyen Nguyen,research fellow, received a BS in Biochemistry from University of Massachusetts Boston. She was a research technician in the Cancer Vaccine Center at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She joined AMPL in October, 2010.
